Mare Spa has obtained ISO 14067:2018 verification for the Dymar product family
We are proud to have achieved this important goal, which will help us to improve efficiency throughout the value chain and reduce emissions by implementing targeted measures.
This international standard defines the principles, requirements and guidelines for the quantification and reporting of the CFP (Product Carbon Footprint), based on the international reference standards for LCA studies (ISO 14040 and ISO 14044).
The key points of the standard concern:
- life cycle approach
- methodology for quantifying the product carbon footprint (CFP)
- CFP study report
The verification activity is understood as a punctual activity aimed at assessing the reliability of data relating to the calculation of the CFP in a specific period of time.
Advantages:
- ability to better understand how to reduce CFP
- increased ability to demonstrate product environmental performance
- credibility of environmental communication
